Our guide to the Orlando Premium Outlets

For those that love a bit of retail therapy, the Premium Outlets are one of the top shopping centres to visit whilst in Orlando. Grab designer brands for less here, with bargains every day of the week!

There are two Premium Outlets to visit in the Orlando area. Both are easily accessible and not far from your villa. The Vineland Avenue shopping centre is closest to the Kissimmee and Davenport areas.

There are over 160 stores in each outlet, so you can certainly shop till you drop! You’ll find big name brands such as Armani, Diesel, Lacoste, Polo Ralph Lauren, Michael Kors, Prada and lots more! Treat yourself to a new pair of jeans or trainers, with many goods on offer at prices never seen in the UK. The kids won’t feel left out either, with a Tommy Hilfiger Kids store as well as Disney’s Character Warehouse containing a wonderful selection of Disney merchandise.

Outlet store tips

• Check the outlet store websites before you go, as most offer discount vouchers which you can print off. Sign up to their VIP Club for exclusive online offers.
• Some of the outlet stores also give away voucher booklets (known as a ‘Complimentary Passport’) at the customer service desk if you ask.
• Both of the Premium Outlets also have food courts, so you can shop and eat all day long!
• If you plan to take your shopping home, keep in mind your luggage allowance, as overweight bags can be expensive.
• It’s always best to set a budget before you start shopping too, as you may get carried away by all the bargains.
• Sales tax (6-7%) is usually added at the till in the US, so keep this in mind when adding up what you’re buying.
• Arrive early to avoid the crowds.
• You can also get your currency exchanged here if you need to.
• The Vineland Avenue centre is slightly more family-friendly and includes a children’s play area.

Lake Buena Vista Factory Stores

You may also want to visit the Lake Buena Vista Factory Stores. It’s a little smaller than the Premium Outlets, but it still offers some great bargains. There are over 50 popular brand name shops here including Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Fossil, Levi’s, Reebok and more.

This shopping complex is also not far from your villa, so you can get to the bargains in no time. Lake Buena Vista Factory Stores offer a relaxed and family-friendly shopping experience. Once you’re all shopped out, relax with a coffee in the Florida sunshine. There’s also a children’s play area so the kids can let-off some steam from all the shopping!
