Experience the natural beauty of the Headwaters of the Everglades by embarking on an airboat tour through protected swamps, marshes, and rivers. Glide through miles of stunning wilderness while observing alligators, birds, trees, and plants up close. Get a glimpse of what Florida looked like a thousand years ago and revel in the peacefulness of being surrounded by untouched nature.
Included in the cost of your airboat tour is a visit to a fantastic wildlife park, featuring over 200 native and exotic animals, including Crusher the monster alligator, tropical birds, lemurs, crocodiles, albino gators, sloths, and even a petting zoo. There is something for everyone to enjoy.
If you work up an appetite during your tour, head over to the delicious barbeque restaurant, offering a variety of mouthwatering dishes, such as smoked chicken, pulled pork, catfish, fried alligator and plant-based options for vegetarians.
The best times to take the tour are at 9:00 a.m. during the summer and at noon during the winter. In the summer, it is harder to spot wildlife during the hottest hours of the day, and daily thunderstorms around 2:00 p.m. may prevent airboat tours. For our pricing, children are considered ages 3 to 12, while adults are ages 13 and up. In the event of a cancelled airboat tour due to inclement weather, the reservations staff at Wild Florida will contact you using the phone number or email address you provided when booking your tour.
