“When we arrived, our middle child said, “This place is like a dream!” And I have to agree with him. We stayed at Jancis and Tony’s retreat in late March with our three young children and our parents (grandparents) - 7 people total - during our Disney/Universal trip. We were fortunate to get a tour from the hosts themselves when we arrived, who were lovely and showed us how to use everything, including the safety alarms, pool fence, and baby gates on the stairs, which were wonderful to have with our very busy toddler. They even left some Easter chocolates for the kids! The home itself is spotless, has plenty of space and bedrooms to spread out, loads of bathrooms and every comfort and amenity you could want. It is beautifully decorated (we even had a fresh tropical bouquet) and is so well equipped. The kids especially enjoyed the themed bedrooms! We all spent lots of time in the beautiful lanai, swimming in the pool, enjoying the hot tub after long days walking in the parks, and having some drinks in the evening. The TVs were great and connected to streaming platforms without any issues. The grandparents took our toddler over to the playground on a rest day where she made some friends and enjoyed climbing and sliding. :) We couldn’t ask for anything more and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this beautiful home to friends and family! We hope to return someday!”

“Property was perfect for our visit to Orlando. It is great inside with plenty of space as well as having everything you could need. The pool area is particularly nice as it looks out into the woodland and so you have a great amount of privacy during the day and evening for those downtime moments between the park visits! Communication before and during our visit was really good and the location for getting to the parks is spot-on. Overall, a fantastic property and owners - highly recommended by our entire family!”

“We stayed at Ohana Retreat over Christmas & New Year. We booked many months before and the communication with Janice & Tony was easy and made us feel comfortable even before we arrived. We had stayed on Emerald Island before but this was the first time at Ohana Retreat. The villa was exceptionally well equipped & clean throughout and the pool area was fantastic, SW facing and caught the sun all day, If you wanted shade there was a comfortable covered patio furnished with plenty of seating, tables and sun beds, more than we expected. The bedrooms, bathrooms and en-suites were immaculate and from some of the other comments Janice & Tony continue to upgrade and are responsive to guests comments, although we couldn't think of anything that needed upgrading, it just felt like home from home. If we get back to Orlando there is nowhere I would rather be than Ohana Retreat. Thank you for making us so welcome.”

“Life in the dream house Jancis and Tony have hosting down! Their home was gorgeous, the property was well maintained with lovely landscaping, and the attention to details was much appreciated. I have never experienced such thoughtful hosts. There was a snack and tea upon arrival. Plenty of games, toys, bicycles, and books available for use. Ponchos, hair dryers, after sun care lotion too. It was a home away from home! The notebook full of helpful tips for local outings was nice with some “insider info”. They even had hurricane supplies in boxes neatly labelled up in the pantry. The house was immaculate, TBH it was nicer than my own house lol. I also really liked that we had no neighbours behind us or on the left, so there was plenty of privacy in the pool area. I am very grateful to have found this beautiful property available for our family getaway. Thank you Tony and Jancis for being such meticulous and thoughtful hosts! Also Gregg and Julie are doing an excellent job of keeping the place up.”

Situated on Emerald Island, one of Kissimmee’s most popular gated resort communities, this privately owned vacation villa is the perfect choice for you and your family. Features include 6 good-sized bedrooms, a Toy Story-themed games room, 2 lounge areas and a south-facing outside area with lots of seating options, a private pool and spa and a conservation view to the rear. The amazing resort facilities are available for all guests to enjoy and include a heated outdoor swimming pool, a separate spa, a licenced Tiki bar, tennis and volleyball courts, convenience store, sauna and steam room, TV lounge and a well-equipped gym. Disney World theme parks are just 10-15 minutes away from Emerald Island so you can nip home for dinner after a day of fun experiencing the rides and parades, before heading back to watch the nightly firework shows. SeaWorld and Discovery Cove are approximately 20-25 minutes away from here and Universal Resorts, home to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Volcano Bay water park and Islands of Adventure, can be reached in less than half an hour via the I-4 Highway. The popular US192 is a few minutes’ drive away from here and has hundreds of dining options waiting for you to discover, with ample choice catering for all tastes, appetites and dietary requirements.

Living Accommodation:
This nicely furnished and very spacious villa offers all the comforts of home so that you and your family can relax together away from the hustle and bustle of normal every day living. Just inside the front door is a relaxing lounge area with windows overlooking the garden and plenty of comfy seating options, making this an ideal place to relax with your favourite novel after an exhausting day at the parks. The centrally placed kitchen, equipped with all the appliances and gadgets required for a self-catering holiday, is centrally placed and has a breakfast dining table nearby with easy access to the south-facing pool deck. A second dining table, with seating for 6 people, is by the front lounge and is the ideal setting for mealtimes and evening fun playing games and chatting. The main family lounge is next to the kitchen area and has comfy sofas in front of a large flatscreen TV. The upstairs landing area has a desk and comfy seating, a peaceful area to use if you want to read your favourite novel or fire off a few work emails.
Bedrooms:
The Main bedroom, the only bedroom on the ground floor, is at the back of the villa on the right, close to the lounge, and has a King-size bed and large en-suite bathroom. Bedroom 2, upstairs at the back of the villa, has a King-size bed and en-suite bathroom and Bedrooms 3 and 4, at the front of the villa, each have a King-size bed and their own en-suite bathroom. Bedroom 5 is a Mickey Mouse-themed room with Twin beds, and this is close to the Harry Potter-themed Bedroom 6, furnished with Twin beds as well. For the comfort and convenience of everybody staying here, all bedrooms have a ceiling fan and flatscreen TV.
Entertainment:
The Toy Story-inspired games room is downstairs at the front of the villa and has a pool table and a table football game. Guests staying here can also enjoy the resort facilities, a 2 minute walk away at the clubhouse, including a heated outdoor swimming pool, a separate spa, a licenced Tiki bar, tennis and volleyball courts, convenience store, sauna and steam room and a well-equipped gym.
Outdoor Living:
The south-facing extended deck area has plenty of seating and sun lounger options for everybody with a lovely conservation view to the rear. With easy access handrails into the pool and spa, and a large covered dining area, many long-lasting family memories can be made here.
