Kilimanjaro Safaris offers a relaxed and immersive journey through a beautifully recreated African landscape. Set within the expansive Harambe Wildlife Reserve, this attraction spans around 110 acres and is home to a wide variety of animals, including lions, elephants, giraffes and more.
Travelling in an open-sided safari vehicle, guests pass through open savanna, wooded areas and wetland environments designed to reflect real habitats. The experience lasts roughly 18 minutes and focuses on conservation, giving visitors the chance to observe animals behaving naturally while learning about efforts to protect them. It’s a calm, scenic adventure that blends wildlife spotting with gentle storytelling.

Tips & Facts
- Kilimanjaro Safaris is the largest attraction at any Disney Theme Park. It is home to over 34 different species of exotic African wildlife.
- Try to sit on the left side of the jeep, as most of the animal sanctuaries are on that side.
- Don’t forget to bring your camera - The tour does stop occasionally for good photo ops, so take advantage when they do.
- Visit early in the morning when the animals are usually most active - many of the animals are napping by mid-day.
