Mako
- Type Roller Coaster
- Best For Teens
- Thrill Level Intense
- Duration 2 Mins
- Restrictions At least 54"
Named after one of the ocean’s fastest sharks, this impressive coaster is the tallest, fastest and longest in Orlando. Although it doesn’t include any inversions, it delivers nine exhilarating moments of “airtime”, where riders briefly lift out of their seats. The experience is inspired by the speed and agility of a shark on the hunt, and the surrounding area of the park continues this theme, immersing visitors in a setting dedicated to these remarkable creatures.
- It’s huge, it’s fast and it offers airtime, lots of airtime. My favourite coasters have always been the ones that give you the feeling of weightlessness and Mako fits the bill exactly!
- The ride is completely forward-facing, so there are no loops or dangling upside down. You shouldn’t be nervous to ride Mako - it’s just a real rush.
- The backseat gives you the most airtime. It’s our favourite spot on the ride.
