Their chicken is fresh and marinated for 24 hours in citrus juices and spices, then grilled over an open flame. The pork is smothered in tropical flavours and then slow-roasted to create succulent pulled pork.

Enjoy these delicious meats in sandwiches and wraps, or with salad and rice. The famous ‘Create your own TropiChops’ is a great option as you can mix and match your sides and toppings.

There’s also eight signature sauces to choose from including Pineapple Tropical Hot Sauce, Guava BBQ, Curry Mustard and more!

Customers can create their own family meal here, which you could say is Pollo Tropical’s version of a ‘Bargain Bucket’. Start with a whole grilled chicken and four rolls. Add as many sides as you’d like, and for those with island-size appetites, choose from a variety of additional meats, beans, rice, cassava and more. These are perfect to take back to your villa and enjoy with everyone!

Fun Fact: Pollo Tropical has a Guinness World Record for the largest serving of black beans & rice. They made this as part of the pre-game events leading up to the 1999 NFL Super Bowl in Miami. The bowl was 10 feet in diameter, and the serving-size weighed more than 3000 pounds (1360kg).

They also have an online ordering service, where you can have a browse of their full menu. It’s easy enough to order all your food online and then pick it up on the way back to the villa. This restaurant is perfect if you’re wanting a relaxing evening back at the villa after your busy day in Florida.
