Star Wars at Disney World

Celebrate your love of a galaxy far, far away in Florida! Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World offers you the ultimate Star Wars adventure with an astronomical amount to explore, including rides, characters, movie props, merchandise and more.

• Star Tours: The Adventure Continues (3D simulator ride) - This was the first Star Wars themed attraction to open at Hollywood Studios in 1989. Star Tours launches you into an unforgettable intergalactic adventure. Climb aboard a Starspeeder 1000 and feel the force during this 3D, motion-simulated space flight, with audio-animatronics, special effects and music.

• Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple (Interactive stage show) - A unique show where children are given the opportunity to get dressed up like Obi-Wan and go lightsaber-to-lightsaber with frightening Star Wars villains.

Tip: To sign up your children to go on stage, visit the Indiana Jones Adventure Outpost shop as soon as the park opens, as slots fill up fast.

• Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away (Live show) - Iconic Star Wars scenes come to life in this wonderful live show. Watch Kylo Ren, Chewbacca, BB-8, Darth Maul and more perform right before your eyes!

Tip: Arrive at least 10 minutes early for the show. The area fills up fast and it is standing room only.

• Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular (Night-time projection show) - What better way to celebrate Star Wars than concluding your day with a show written in the stars! This night-time spectacular is filled with memorable Star Wars moments through state-of-the-art projection, dynamic lighting, lasers and fireworks that light up the sky like never before!

• Star Wars Launch Bay (Exhibition) - An immersive exhibit that is sure to delight any Star Wars fan! Get an up-close look at replica props, models, costumes, concept artwork and artefacts from the complete Star Wars saga. Take photos, watch videos and interact in Star Wars games.

• Star Wars Character Meet and Greet - Say hello and have a photo with Kylo Ren and Chewbacca in the Star Wars Launch Bay. Guests can also enjoy an encounter with the beloved bot BB-8.

• Star Wars Guided Tour - This experience could be a real time “saber” and is the ultimate Star Wars day for any fan! It’s a seven-hour tour with VIP access, led by a knowledgeable guide around all the Star Wars attractions in Hollywood Studios. *(Not included in regular park admission)*

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge - NEW land opening 2019

The force is growing at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! In 2019, guests will be transported to a never-before seen planet where Star Wars characters and stories come to life. Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will include two signature rides, featuring the Millennium Falcon and a Star Destroyer!

At 14 acres in size, this new land will be the largest single-themed expansion ever added to a Disney theme park!

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will be set on the Planet Batuu, a remote settlement on the galaxy’s edge. It is home to those who prefer to stay out of the mainstream, and is a thriving place for smugglers, rogue traders, and adventurers travelling between the frontier and uncharted space. 

Whilst here, guests will be able to meet a few familiar faces, including BB-8, Chewbacca, members of the First Order and many more of your favourite characters. You’ll also be able to relax and enjoy a refreshing glass of blue milk at the Cantina.

View a model of the new land! Inside the Walt Disney Presents exhibit at Disney’s Hollywood Studios the Star Wars: A Galaxy’s Edge model is currently on display for all to see.

Star Wars Merchandise at Disney

There’s some great Star Wars merchandise to take home from your Disney trip too. Inside the Tatooine Traders store at Hollywood Studios, you’ll find an awesome **Build Your Own Lightsaber kiosk** and **Droid Factory**, allowing guests to create their own Star Wars merchandise. 

Merchandise can also be bought from the Once Upon a Toy Store at Disney Springs, which has a whole room filled with Star Wars goodies.

Star Wars at Legoland Florida

LEGO Star Wars Days - 5th - 20th May (weekends)

LEGO Star Wars Days returns again this year to LEGOLAND Florida with triple the amount of fun, as it is being held over three weekends! It’s the only LEGO Star Wars theme park event in Florida!

This year will also unveil the newest Miniland Model display featuring memorable moments from The Force Awakens film. It’s made from thousands of bricks and enhanced with lights, sound effects and animation.

The event will include:

• The *LEGO Star Wars Miniland Model Displays* with the unveiling of the newest The Force Awakens display. LEGOLAND Florida guests can enjoy some of the most famous scenes from the Star Wars films - all made out of 1.5 million LEGO bricks.
• *LEGO building activities* inspired by Star Wars characters
• Meet & Greet with LEGO Darth Vader and a new LEGO Star Wars character, yet to be announced. 
• A Star Wars *themed costume parade* that the kids can take part in
