Enjoy fresh pizza and pasta at this NEW restaurant in Disney Springs

Delight in a feast from the shores of Italy, inside this new restaurant at Disney Springs. Terralina Crafted Italian opened its doors on 28th June 2018 and serves authentic Italian home-cooked cuisine. The menu includes many traditional Italian dishes including lasagne, bolognese and a variety of wood-fired pizza, alongside some Terralina specials.

The new restaurant has a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere, reminiscent of an Italian home, with an open kitchen, dining rooms and eclectic décor. The focus is entirely on the food, as the kitchen takes centre stage with a wood-burning oven and charcoal grill.

Award-winning Chef Tony Mantuano is the man behind the menus at Terralina. He was a big part of the former restaurant that was here and has brought some of the favourites from Portobello Country Italian Trattoria onto the table too. All ingredients are locally-sourced and the fresh food is cooked in Tony’s signature Italian olive oil, imported directly from Italy. Cooking alongside him is executive chef Justin Plank who knows what it takes to create a dish that will appeal to a variety of tastes.

For starters, the Antipasti Tower is one of the guest favourites, with a display of cured meats, artisanal cheeses, and home-made pickled vegetables with pecorino truffle potato chips; it’s perfect to share with friends and family. In addition to the traditional main dishes, Terralina’s speciality creations include home-made porchetta with a spicy-sweet apple mostarda and slow-roasted beef short rib with honey-balsamic glaze. Wood-fired pizza and calzones are another favourite on the menu, especially as you can see them being cooked right in front of you. Along with the fresh pizza bases, all pasta is made fresh too, staying true to the Italian spirit and culture of the restaurant.

You can’t have an Italian restaurant without a bit of fish and seafood on the menu too! The bucatini with clams and the swordfish peperonata with roasted peppers are some great dishes to try alongside many others. For the vegetarians there’s a couple of aubergine options you might want to try including eggplant fries and the eggplant parmesan stack with spaghetti pomodoro.

“A great addition to Disney Springs. Amazing food, outstanding service, and great wine! Absolutely gorgeous environment. Our bartenders were above and beyond knowledgeable regarding the menu, created a fun environment, and the food rocked! Our only regret was that there was no room for dessert!”

If you have space in your belly after the meal, cool-off with everyone’s favourite Italian treat, gelato! There’s also a chocolate-dipped gelato sandwich, which sounds heavenly.

Terralina is also very welcoming of children and has a great kids menu including a variety of Italian classics that the kids will love. The portion sizes are very generous, so the kids can keep their energy up before or after a busy day in Orlando.

The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner from 11:30am to 11pm and you can enjoy the food inside, or outside overlooking the waterfront. Wherever you choose to sit it’s a relaxing atmosphere throughout. Part of the outdoor area also features a veranda bar overlooking Riverboat Square; the perfect spot to relax and sip some craft cocktails, muddled with fresh herbs.

“My family and I stumbled upon this while walking around Disney Springs. We were hesitant to try it because we weren't looking for a heavy lunch but decided to go for it. It was fantastic and my husband and I were so happy with our decision. The food was some of the best we had on our entire trip.”
