Anastasia
More musical theatre awaits, and like Tales of the Hatter, our story is set in the 1920s. Anastasia has been making waves on Broadway, and the North American tour comes to Orlando between 14th – 19th May. Based on the story told in the popular 1997 animation of the same name – itself a fictional retelling of the legend of Russia’s Grand Duchess Anastasia and her life after escaping the Bolsheviks, the show made its debut on Broadway in 2017. Step back in time as you are transported to Paris in the 1920s as Anya embarks on a journey to discover more about her mysterious past with the help of her friends. Coming from the Tony Award-winning creators of Ragtime, this historical epic is sure to be a hit with fans of musical theatre!
Come From Away
Tickets are not yet available for the Tony Award-winning Come From Away, which reaches Florida for 11th – 16th June. Inspired by the true story of those aeroplane travellers stranded in the small town of Gander in the Canadian island of Newfoundland, after planes were grounded following the tragedy of the events of 11th September, this is a heart-warming tale of human kindness. A hit with critics and audiences alike and scheduled to reach the West End with a British cast in February 2019, its well worth catching this thought-provoking show on its Florida leg of the US tour.
