A Look Into The NEW Bourne Stuntacular Show
Follow Jason Bourne in this new live-action stunt show at Universal Orlando Resort, leaving audiences amazed with an impressive fusion of stagecraft and film. You don’t just watch it, you feel it!
The Bourne Stuntacular is located in the Hollywood area of Universal Studios, within an art deco-style office building, which used to be home to Terminator 2: 3D. Ever since the closure of the Terminator show, as well as The 8th Voyage of Sinbad, which closed in 2018, guests have been eagerly awaiting a large-scale stunt show to replace these and it seems the newest addition is one to include on the “must-see” list.
“WOW! WOW! WOW! Really enjoyed this realistic movie production like stunt show! Actors were amazing and keep me wondering what was going to happen next! The digital arts and stage props were so real and futuristic! Universal did good adding this to their park, though we will forever miss Terminator and the many other rides/shows that get replaced.”
As you enter the building, you’ll notice the polished concrete and stainless steel interior, complete with images of Jason Bourne’s cinematic career. Whilst in the queue line, look out for real props from the movie series, as well as the car from The Bourne Identity and the motorcycle from The Bourne Ultimatum! Televisions throughout play some of your favourite scenes from the Bourne films, helping to hype guests up for the thrilling attraction to come.
Before taking a seat in the theatre, visitors will pass through security scanners into mission headquarters, where they are welcomed and briefed by Nicky Parsons (Julia Stiles), Jason Bourne’s main confidant who helps him remember his past. Nicky, who can’t be in the field, will ask for your help tracking Bourne to ensure he does not get fooled by rogue double agents.
In the theatre you’ll join Jason Bourne as he travels across three continents and sprints from the rooftops of Tangier in Morocco, to the suburban streets of Washington, D.C., completing his mission amid Dubai’s skyscrapers, in an original Bourne storyline. A range of stunts are displayed throughout this breathtaking show, from bare-knuckle fist fights and gun battles, to aerial acrobatics high above the ground! You’ll be turning your head in every direction, just to keep up with the movements and action going on. A massive LED screen behind all the action helps to set the scene for the audience, whilst also making you feel a part of this next-level stunt show. It displays an image so sharp and vivid that it defies the eye’s ability to determine where the digital world ends and reality begins.
Tip: Seats at the front provide the best view of the close-quarters combat for fight choreography connoisseurs, but sitting towards the back gives you a better view of the screen.
