Villas Closest to Disney World

We all want to stay in a villa that is as close to Disney World as we can get, but what is the best way to be able to achieve that?

When describing the distances from each villa on the Debbie’s Villas website we actually measure the distance from the community entrance to the car park of the particular theme park we are talking about, giving you an estimate of how long it will take to get there based on average driving times. Obviously these times will vary massively between quiet periods and the peak holiday dates of Easter and Christmas, but at least you will have some genuine idea of how long it will take to reach the theme parks.

Many people who visit Disney World will stay for as long as they can each day, often getting there early in the morning before the park opens (this is called “rope drop”) and staying until the last firework has erupted in the night sky. There are also families who will often spend part of their day at Disney before returning to their villa for a few hours of enjoyment around the private pool, and then maybe heading back to the parks in the evening to experience the firework shows. And of course, there are the families that are somewhere in between both of these and pretty much take each day as it comes.

Whatever you choose to do, and wherever you choose to stay, sometimes staying in a villa close to Disney World is convenient for whatever reason you want it to be. To help you decide here is a quick overview of some of the communities we have rental villas on; they are all around 10 to 20 minutes drive of the Disney parks.

Communities closest to Disney World

Peaceful Communities

• Crestwynd Bay is a small peaceful community in Kissimmee, close to Disney and less than a mile from shops and restaurants. It has a play area and community pool for all to use. We have a range of villas to rent on here that offer south or west-facing pools and games rooms.

• Formosa Gardens is an upscale gated community in Kissimmee, so close to Disney World you can hear the fireworks every night. We have a range of villas to rent on Formosa Gardens with private pool and spa, games room and lake view, ranging from 5 to 9 bedrooms.

• Grand Reserve is the perfect choice if you are looking for a relaxing holiday to Orlando. It is a gated community close to Disney World and most of the villas here have lake and conservation views as well as games rooms and a private pool and spa.

• Indian Creek is as close to Disney World as you can get, tucked away just off the popular US192 area, making it a perfect location. Many of our private villas here also have a games room, conservation view or south-facing swimming pools.

• Indian Ridge and Indian Ridge Oaks are two neighbouring communities that are just 10 minutes from Disney World. Guests staying at either of these communities have access to the communal pool and children’s play area, while each villa has a private pool and many of them also have a spa, games room and south or west-facing pool deck.

• Oak Island community in Kissimmee is split into 2 different subdivisions, Oak Island Cove and Oak Island Harbor, both of which are close to Disney World. Rental villas here offer many features including private pool and spa with a south or west-facing outlook and games rooms.

• Rolling Hills is a peaceful Kissimmee community close to Disney. Our rental villas here have a private pool with spa and often have a south or west-facing deck, with conservation views and a games room as well.

• Seasons is a quiet, secluded community in Kissimmee, close to Disney World and many of our villas have a south or west-facing pool and spa with a lake view, as well as well-equipped games rooms for the kids. A selection of restaurants and shops can be found in Kissimmee Old Town less than 4 miles away, and a 24hr Walmart is less than 1 mile along the road.

Gated Resort Communities

• Emerald Island is one of Kissimmee’s most well-known and highly recommended gated communities and we have a huge selection of private villas to rent on this community. Many of our villas have a south or west-facing pool and spa, often overlooking conservation land or a lake, and many of them have a games room which the kids will appreciate. Resort facilities are available for all guests to enjoy and include poolside Tiki bar, heated resort-style pool with hot tub, fitness centre, sports courts, walking trails, BBQ area, steam room and 24 hour manned security at the entrance.

• Encantada is a gated Kissimmee resort community close to Disney, shops and restaurants and is on the popular tourist corridor US192. All guests staying in one of our rental homes can enjoy free access to the resort facilities including 24 hour gym, games arcade and fabulous swimming pools. There is also a bistro bar serving snacks and meals until late at night. Many of the homes have peaceful lake views or south or west-facing private pools.

• Festival is a new community set in 200 acres of woodland and lakes with amazing facilities including an ice-cream parlour, gym and resort-style pool, restaurant and bar.

• Lucaya Village is a modern gated resort of private 3 and 4 bedroom town homes situated about a mile from the US192, as well as the famous Old Town district of Kissimmee. The resort is close to Disney World and offers lots of facilities for guests to use including pool, gym, fitness centre and BBQ area.

• Paradise Palms is a luxury gated resort in Kissimmee close to Disney World and the US192 with its selection of family restaurants. Our private rental homes can offer a south or west-facing pool, games room with modern furnishings and décor. Resort facilities include swimming pool, kids pool, sports courts, gym, cinema, games room and tiki bar.

• Regal Oaks is a modern gated resort close to Disney World with facilities that include swimming pool with spa, water slide, loungers and cabanas, gym, lake, tennis court, bar and restaurant. • Solterra is a gated resort and has everything you are looking for in a community close to Disney. • Storey Lake is a stunning gated resort community in Kissimmee, just 10 minutes from Disney and a mile away from the US192.
