Orlando Communities with BBQ Areas

Who doesn’t like to enjoy a barbecue when the sun is shining and what better place to have one than in the Sunshine State? Florida is given that name for a reason, as it has on average around 233 sunny days per year, so there’s always a chance for a few barbecues during your holiday in Orlando.

When staying in one of our Orlando villas you have the option of hiring a gas barbecue for your holiday or making use of the charcoal barbecues on the community.

The community barbecues are usually located close to other facilities within the resort such as the community pool and sports courts, which is ideal for keeping the little ones entertained whilst you cook. You could certainly spend all day enjoying the facilities on the resort and then relaxing with a chargrilled dinner overlooking the views of the community.

For those that love cooking alfresco over some coals, this is a perfect alternative to eating out, which is likely to cost more anyway. Head to your local Walmart or Publix, located within a short driving distance of your holiday villa, to grab a bag of coals and a mix of your favourite barbecue food. The barbecue areas are a great place to spend some quality time with the family after busy days out in Orlando and who doesn’t love that chargrilled taste?

Communities in Kissimmee

Crescent Lakes

This large and peaceful community is in a great location close to Disney World and Universal. Our holiday villas here are within small subdivisions and offer both lake and conservation views on generous-sized plots.

As part of the community facilities there are various children’s play areas, a nature trail where you can see exotic wildlife and of course a BBQ and picnic area, which is located close to the kids park and sports courts. This community has spacious outdoor spaces making it a wonderful tranquil place to relax around nature for a few hours. There are some covered dining areas close to the BBQs on Crescent Lakes, offering you the chance to shelter away from sun whilst eating.

Emerald Island

This popular gated resort in Kissimmee has some of the best resort facilities in the Disney area including a clubhouse, Tiki bar, heated swimming pool, hot tub, sports courts and lots more. The villas on Emerald Island range in size from 3 bedrooms to 7 bedrooms, many with south or west-facing private pools and amazing games rooms.

A few BBQ and picnic areas can be found dotted around the community, located close to the children’s play area, community pool and sports courts. They are the ideal spot to unwind and enjoy a bite to eat after walking around the community trail or going for a swim in the pool.

Lake Berkley

Located close to Disney, Lake Berkley is a gated community, which is home to a range of luxury villas from 3 bedrooms to 6 bedroom. Many of these villas on Lake Berkley have a south or west-facing private pool and spa, games room and lake views.

With three lakes here, wildlife is in abundance, offering the ideal community to unwind and appreciate the beauty of nature. Alongside the lake is a children’s play area, basketball court, plenty of picnic seating, a few BBQs and even a mini beach area. It’s a more secluded part of the community as it is hidden behind some woodland.

Windsor Hills

This highly recommended resort in Kissimmee is one of the closest communities to Disney World, with Orlando’s other top attraction all within an easy driving distance. Many of our holiday villas on Windsor Hills have a family games room or south or west-facing pool and spa.

The entrance to this community is manned 24 hours a day by security staff, providing peace of mind and giving you a safe and secure environment for you and your family. There’s lots of great facilities too, including a heated swimming pool, kid's water park, gym, sports courts and cinema. Adjacent to the sports courts is the large family BBQ and picnic area, the perfect place to gather and dine together.

Communities in Davenport

Bridgewater Crossing

This picturesque community has approximately 220 villas close to Disney World, each one with its own private pool. Peaceful tree-lined paths, beautiful lakes and a community swimming pool are just a few of the facilities on offer for guests staying in one of our luxury villas on Bridgewater Crossing.

Located close to the community pool is a BBQ and picnic spot, with a few covered areas for those that prefer to have some shelter from the Florida sun. There’s also some sports courts here for families to enjoy a bit of competition and once worn out they can sit back with a burger nearby.

Westridge

This established community in Davenport has a good choice of privately owned villas, many of them having a games room and south or west-facing pool deck with scenic view. Orlando's famous theme parks, including Disney World, can be reached in as little as 20-30 minutes drive from here.

The community facilities on Westridge include a swimming pool, a playing field, children’s play area and a large picnic area with BBQ grills. At the bottom of the community is a natural spring-fed fishing lake that guests have access to if you fancy a spot of fishing or wildlife watching.

The BBQ area on Westridge is near to the community pool, children’s play area and sports courts, the perfect location for keeping the family amused whilst the food is being cooked. It’s a great community to gather with everyone, as well as meet other holidaymakers.
