And, if there is a Halloween Central among all the additional ghostly experiences and haunted happenings, it is International Drive, right at the heart of all things Orlando.

For anyone heading here this month, some of these extra opportunities are simply unmissable, especially if you enjoy the more macabre side of the season. But there is certainly something for everyone along the 12-mile stretch of I-Drive, so here is the full run-down of all that’s on offer for supernatural October:

Halloween Horror Nights

Step into a world of terror at Universal Studios Florida for an event that consistently pushes the boundaries of horror. This year’s edition features 10 haunted houses, each designed to immerse guests in nightmarish worlds. This year’s themes feature everything from classic horror films to modern-day nightmares with Ghostbusters, Insidious, Universal Monsters, and more. With five immersive scare zones, live entertainment and scares around every corner, Halloween Horror Nights is perfect for adrenaline junkies seeking an unforgettable fright night. Needless to say, this is not an event for young children.

Howl-O-Scream

The same goes for SeaWorld’s offering, an intense Halloween experience that combines haunted houses, scare zones, night-time rides and live entertainment. This after-hours event plunges visitors into a world of fear, like the brand-new Farm 51 and the return of a fan-favourite D3LER1UM666. As you walk through the park, beware sinister roaming characters, like chainsaw-wielding maniacs and twisted creatures, ready to scare even the bravest souls. Whether you’re a roller coaster enthusiast or horror fanatic, Howl-O-Scream delivers a night packed with blood-pumping excitement and screams.

SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular

This whimsical experience is perfect for families and younger guests. A daytime event, it transforms the park into a colourful, festive wonderland where children can enjoy trick-or-treating, meeting friendly characters in costume and joining in on fun, interactive activities. The atmosphere is lively and cheerful, with special performances like the Sesame Street Halloween Parade, where characters like Elmo and Cookie Monster dance in their Halloween best. Kids can also explore the Pumpkin Patch, create Halloween crafts and dance along at the Bubble Dance Party.

Vampirates: The Haunting Search for Neptune’s Treasure

Set sail for a swashbuckling adventure with a spooky twist at the Halloween-themed show of Pirates Dinner Adventure. With a haunted pirate ship, thrilling stunts, eerie encounters and interactive storytelling, the fearless crew faces off against vampire pirates, studded with acrobatics, sword fights and special effects that bring this chilling tale to life. Perfect for families, the show blends humour and seasonal excitement alongside a delicious three-course meal.

Halloween Havoc - The Underground Game Show

For a unique twist on Halloween fun, head to the Bureau Escape Rooms at 5400 I-Drive, where trivia meets interactive challenges in a thrilling night of scary-fun competition. This event invites teams to put their horror knowledge to the test, solving puzzles, answering Halloween-themed questions, and competing in fun, fast-paced games. Choose from the Spooky (for all the family) or Scary (PG-13) editions.

Pirates of the Haunted Seas

Embark on an underwater adventure with an eerie twist at SeaLife Orlando at ICON park. This family-friendly experience invites guests to explore a captivating underwater exhibit filled with pirates and enchanting sea creatures, all while uncovering the mysteries of the deep. Follow the Candy Current to visit education stations located throughout the aquarium and learn facts about sea creatures to collect your candy!

JoJo’s ShakeBAR

Spooky Empire – Hyatt Regency Orlando
