This modern, 6 bedroom Windsor Hills villa is located within a 10 minute drive of Disney World, 15 minutes away from SeaWorld and Discovery Cove and less than half an hour’s drive from Universal. The Kissimmee resort, one of the best gated communities in the Disney area, is also close to the US192 which has hundreds of dining options to suit all tastes, budgets and appetites. The amazingly decorated kids bedrooms in Superhero, Princess and Cars themes will appeal to younger family members and the south-facing pool and spa deck will be the perfect tonic for adults after a day at the parks. The villa also has a well-equipped games room including cinema-style seats in front of a large flatscreen TV. Guests staying here can also use the resort facilities free of charge, including the heated lagoon pool, water park, gazebo area overlooking a lake, hot tub, a kids’ pool, and a ‘castle’ play area. A Tiki bar serves refreshing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as well as snacks. If you want to keep active during your holiday, then head for one of the sports courts and team up with other holiday-makers for a game of volleyball, basketball or tennis. Adjacent to these is the large family BBQ and picnic area, where you often find groups of families dining together. The clubhouse continues to impress with a 40 seat cinema, showing films from a library of over 600 family friendly movies, a state of the art fitness centre and video games arcade.
As soon as you step through the front doors you can immediately relax and start enjoying your holiday. The open-plan living area has lots of natural light and includes a modern family lounge with comfy seating for 8 people and doors leading to the south-facing pool deck, a large family dining table, also overlooking the pool deck is a great place to enjoy family board game evenings once the dishes have been cleared away. The kitchen, equipped with all the appliances, utensils and pots and pans you are likely to need also has a breakfast bar with 2 stools, a perfect place to sit and enjoy snacks and drinks throughout the day.
The Main bedroom, on the ground floor towards the rear of the villa, has a King-size bed, en-suite bathroom and door leading to the pool deck. Bedroom 2 is also on the ground floor and has been decorated for Superhero fans and has a King-size bed and en-suite bathroom. The last bedroom downstairs, Bedroom 4, is at the front of the villa and has a Queen-size bed. The tastefully decorated Bedroom 3 is upstairs and has a King-size bed, Bedrooms 5 and 6 are both Twin-bedded rooms, one has been decorated in a Princess theme, the other in a Cars theme. For the comfort and convenience of all guests, each bedroom has a ceiling fan and flatscreen TV.
The amazing games room has been equipped with a pool table as well as an air hockey game for energetic family members. Less active members of the family might want to sit on the comfortable cinema-style seating and watch a movie on the large flatscreen TV in the games room. Just 6 minutes walk away from the villa is the community clubhouse and this is where you can enjoy the heated lagoon-style swimming pool, kiddies water park, modern gym, games room, play area and outdoor sports courts.
The south-facing pool deck benefits from having a deep undercover dining area with a table large enough for 6 people, a private pool and spa area and loungers for sunbathers. This is a great place to come back to after a day of excitement at the theme parks and recharge your batteries.
Windsor Hills is a highly recommended gated Kissimmee resort, and one of the closest communities to Disney World. With Orlando’s other theme parks Universal, SeaWorld and Discovery Cove, all within an easy driving distance.
