Situated on the small, gated, sub-community of The Shire, part of the larger, highly recommended West Haven community in Davenport close to the US27 and I-4 Highway. Excited Mickey Mouse fans can be at Disney World just 15-20 minutes after leaving the villa, with SeaWorld and Discovery Cove just 20-25 minutes from here. A little further away, but still within half an hour’s drive, is Universal Resorts which includes Volcano Bay water park and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. ChampionsGate Village is 2 miles away along the Ronald Reagan Parkway and this is where you will find a supermarket and selection of family-friendly restaurants to tempt your taste buds. West Haven has community facilities that guests can use, including a TV lounge, modern gym, swimming pool and outdoor sports courts. These facilities are at the clubhouse near the entrance to The Dales, another of the gated sub-communities, just 2 minutes away from The Shire.
As soon as you enter through the front door it feels as though you are walking into your very own home, with comfortable furnishings and a warm ambience that helps you to relax immediately and put yourself into holiday mode. To the right of the front door is the open-plan kitchen that has enough utensils and pots and pans for you to prepare a family feast. The breakfast bar seating 4 people is a great place to sit and watch the nominated cooks at work while you help yourself to some nibbles. The dining table inside the kitchen is a great place for toast and orange juice in the morning as you plan your day ahead, while the larger dining table sitting close by is the perfect location for an evening of family board games once the dishes have been cleared away. The lounge area has traditional seating around a large flatscreen TV and is perfect for curling up and watching a movie together. Doors leading to the south-facing pool deck mean you can wander in and out at will to appreciate the warm Florida sun.
The Main bedroom is to the right of the lounge and sits apart from all other bedrooms, it has a King-size bed, windows overlooking the pool deck and an en-suite bathroom. Bedroom 2 is also to the rear of the villa but on the left-hand side and has a Queen-size bed and en-suite bathroom with a door leading to the pool deck. Bedrooms 3 and 4 are Twin-bedded rooms to the left of the lounge and have been decorated and furnished in a style that would appeal to guests of any age or gender. There is no need to miss out on your favourite TV show in this villa, each bedroom has its own flatscreen TV.
The games room will be a popular place for all the family and many memories can be made here playing table tennis, air hockey or shooting a few hoops on the basketball game. Additional community facilities can be found at the West Haven clubhouse, 2 minutes from here, including a TV lounge, modern gym, swimming pool and outdoor tennis and volleyball courts.
The inviting pool and spa, sitting on the south-facing deck, allow you to take a refreshing dip or relaxing soak whenever you choose, and with a covered dining area as well, even those that want to escape the sun can still enjoy some alfresco living. With no immediate overlooking neighbours sunbathers will be able to fully relax out here as they top up on their vitamin D. Access to the en-suite bathroom of Bedroom 2 can be gained from the pool deck.
The Shire is a small, peaceful gated subdivision of West Haven, a popular Davenport community close to Disney World with a range of 4 and 5 bedroom privately owned villas, all with their own pool and spa. Many of our villas to rent also have a games room and south or west-facing pool. Disney is 15 minutes away, while Universal and SeaWorld are 30 minutes away. Shops, restaurants and golf courses are all within a short driving distance. Guests have access to community facilities which include a clubhouse with TV lounge and gym, tennis and volleyball courts and large outdoor swimming pool.
