Disney's Magic Kingdom
Overview
Dreams really can come true at Disney's Magic Kingdom in Orlando. Almost 20 million visitors a year flock through the gates of this theme park making it the most popular attraction in the world. The park is divided into six themed 'lands' with Cinderella Castle at the centre of them all: Mainstreet USA is lined with shops selling merchandise and food, Adventureland is themed to resemble Africa, Asia, the Middle East, South America and the Caribbean. This is where you can find classic rides such as Pirates of the Caribbean and Jungle Cruise, as well as walk through the Swiss Family Treehouse. In Frontierland you can relive the American Old West from cowboys and Native Americans to exploring the mysteries of the Rivers of America, as well as enjoying Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Splash Mountain. Liberty Square is based on a Revolutionary colonial town and is home to The Haunted Mansion and the Hall of Presidents. The carnival-style Fantasyland is dedicated to the young at heart and to those who believe that when you wish upon a star, your dreams come true. Attractions here include Peter Pan's Flight, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Mickey's PhilharMagic and Mad Tea Party. The final land is Tomorrowland, set in an intergalactic city, a concept of the future as seen from around the 1950s with rockets, UFOs and robots.
