This one-of-a-kind water theme park is now open! Volcano Bay is a tropical paradise, great for both thrills and relaxation, so the whole family can enjoy their time here.

At Universal’s Volcano Bay you’ll share the joy and carefree lifestyle of the Waturi islanders. Discover the legend of their journeys across the South Pacific, searching for their new home with the help of the mystical fish Kunuku.

There’s more time for fun and exploration here, as the park introduces the TapuTapu wearable wristband. The wristband allows you to hold your place in line without queuing, so that means no more waiting in long queues! Touch your TapuTapu on a totem outside of the attraction you want to experience and a ride time will be reserved for you.

• 18 fun-filled attractions that the whole family will love.

• At the heart of the island stands Krakatau, the mighty fire and water volcano, which stands at 200ft tall.

• Waturi is the name of the park’s fictional Pacific island.

• Volcano Bay is within walking distance of Universal's other theme parks, as well as Universal CityWalk.

• The water park will soon include a nighttime experience too, where you’ll be able to watch Krakatau erupt into the night sky.

Volcano Bay is split into four immersive areas with innovative opportunities for thrills and rejuvenation:

…Krakatau - Krakatau streams waterfalls during the day and fiery lava effects at night. Inside are a variety of heart-pounding water slides!

…Wave Village - This peaceful escape overlooks the sparkling waters of Waturi Beach at the base of the volcano.

…River Village - The scenic River Village is fun for all ages, including the very youngest Waturi.

…Rainforest Village - Rainforest Village is nestled along the shores of a river and features the perfect mix of relaxation and exhilaration.
