As you can see there are plenty of Ear Hats and Ear headbands to suit everyone! Throughout the next year Disney is introducing a range of special Ears designed by celebrities, designers and artists – but you’ll have to be quick to snap them up as they won’t be around for long! As we mentioned, bag designer Harveys have already released their take on a patriotic Mickey and Minnie theme, but which other hats are due in the park?
This summer, expect to see fashion designer Betsey Johnson’s puffed pink Ear headband with a black and white polka dot bow, as well as designer Josh Agle’s take on an Ear Hat. Featuring scenes from Magic Kingdom’s Enchanted Tiki Room attraction, this is a bright and colourful addition to anyone’s collection. Another design that you will see around the parks in the summer is by the artist Noah Elias, who takes cues from classic Mickey cartoons for his monochrome Ear Hat. Other designs to check out come from Alex and Ani, Kim Irvine and from Star Wars voice actress Ashley Eckstein, who has created a design for Her Universe.
Looking further ahead to autumn, supermodel Heidi Klum has designed a particularly sparkly headband, covered in glittering crystals, while illustrator Jerrod Maruyama has given a bit of a hipster vibe to his Ear Hat! Other autumnal treats come from design team The Blonds, Coach, and Loungefly. Next year designs will be added from wedding dress designer Vera Wang, Joe Rohde, Cupcakes and Cashmere, Kevin Rafferty, Karlie Kloss and John Coulter – keep an eye on the Disney website for more information.
