The swimming pool on Solterra is heated between November and February, so you and the family can still enjoy it in the cooler months. The kids will especially love the water slide at the pool, the lazy river and children’s play area nearby. There are plenty of sun loungers, cabanas and shaded seating areas around the pool to help you relax and enjoy the Florida sunshine. Alongside the community pool is a café for refreshments and snacks to keep you going throughout the day.

The more active family members can make the most of the tennis and volleyball courts on the community. Solterra is also great for a leisurely stroll with beautiful lakes to explore around the resort.

What’s Nearby to Solterra?

Located just off the Ronald Reagan Parkway in Davenport, Solterra is in a great location to all the top attractions in Orlando. The Disney and Universal theme parks are only around 15 to 30 minutes drive away from your villa in Solterra. The I-4 highway is also nearby, which means Busch Gardens is approximately 60 minutes away driving east towards Tampa and Kennedy Space Center is 60 minutes to the west. Florida’s award-winning beaches, including Clearwater, Cocoa, Daytona and Siesta Key, can all be reached in as little as 90 - 95 Minutes from here too.

You’ll find a Publix supermarket a couple of miles away from Solterra on the corner of Lake Wilson Road and Osceola Parkway. There are two more Publix stores within a few miles, one at ChampionsGate and the other located at the end of the Ronald Reagan Parkway, so there’s always somewhere nearby where you can get some groceries for your villa. Posner Park, an outdoor shopping mall is a few miles south of Solterra with stores such as JC Penney, Dicks Sporting Goods, Ross, Target and Best Buy.

For local restaurants take a visit to ChampionsGate Village, which is only five minutes away and has a range of food options to suit all tastes and budgets. Alternatively, head to the popular US192 which is a few miles north for an even wider choice of bars and restaurants near your Solterra villa in Orlando.
